You do not need to apply to the School of Engineering & Computer Science. You simply need to apply to Baylor and select that you want to be a bioinformatics major.

In order to make the application process as easy as possible, please use the application center. This will allow you to check your application and obtain the appropriate forms.

We also encourage you to apply to the Engineering & Computer Science Living Learning Center. Along with being housed with other bioinformatics majors, there is also a faculty member, Ms. Cindy Fry, in residence. Research has shown that students who have greater interaction with faculty and who are able to pursue with peers their academic interests inside and outside of the classroom have greater college experiences than those who do not.
