Paid assistantships - Research and Teaching - are available. To date, most of our graduate students have held one or the other. Both are stipend positions and typically come with tuition remission. Teaching Assistantships are awarded by the department's Graduate Study Committee. Awards are based on merit and programmatic needs. Research Assistantships are available from faculty who have attracted external funds to support their research.
