I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience thus far in the ECS-LLC. Perhaps the most important things I've gained from the ECS-LLC are the relationships I've formed, especially the tight-knit bond I've developed with the like-minded students who live with and around me. I have met fellow students, professors, and other staff members who have and will continue to embrace, encourage, and challenge me. I've been invited to take leadership roles and participate in a variety of activities that make me feel like a member of the Baylor family. Most simply, it's been a great foundation where I feel that I can grow and thrive."

"From participating in the ECS-LLC, I feel like I was immediately grouped with whom I needed to be grouped with. To further explain, I know some engineers who are not living in the North Village and I know for a fact they are having a harder time finding people who are interested in what they are interested in. I feel like I've had a great chance to get to know my professors and engineering staff on a deeper level..."

"I gained a closer relationship and friendship with others in a similar field of study to my own. Being in such close proximity gave me a chance to know them better. I also got to know more about engineers and got to get to know many of them, exploring the possibility of working together in our own business in the future. I was given an enriching opportunity which I seized and, I think, will be more successful in my academic career because of it."

"I was really able to connect to the engineering students here at Baylor. The community we developed has been awesome. I met dozens of engineering students that I would not have met otherwise. Being an upperclass engineering student, I have had the opportunity to mentor a few of the ECS-LLC guys about classes and help them out with homework."

"I gained much from participating in the ECS-LLC this year. Living with other people in my same major allowed me to get help with any of my classes by just walking next door. If I had a problem in calculus, physics, or my computer science class, all I would need to do is ask my neighbor."

"Not only is getting to live in the beautiful new North Village right next to the Rogers Building a great experience, but also living with people in my major has been very helpful. I could not imagine having to go through freshman year starting out in a Computer Science degree while not living with other Computer Science majors. Also, since our degrees are all similar, the ECS-LLC has helped me to meet many like-minded people who have become great friends to me. On top of that, it has been nice to have a group of people to hang out with."
