IEEE Power and Energy Society Scholarship Plus Recipient
Oct. 30, 2013
The IEEE Power and Energy Society Scholarship (PES) Scholarship Plus Initiative supports the most promising future engineers in power and energy. Recipients are high-achieving undergraduate students in electrical engineering programs who have committed to exploring the power and energy engineering field through both coursework and career experiences. PES regional volunteer leaders select recipients following the application submission period ending in June of each year. Soon, these promising students will graduate with the knowledge and career experience necessary to begin making an impact across the power and energy industry.
For the second consecutive year, a Baylor student has been awarded the scholarship. Senior electrical and computer engineering major, Cecilia Klauber, has been selected as an IEEE PES Scholar for the 2013-14 academic year. She plans to pursue research in power and renewable energy in graduate school.
