RENAISSANCE SCHOLAR PROGRAM

Enroll and receive credit at Baylor University before you even start your senior year in high school! The Renaissance Scholar Program, a partnership between the School of Engineering & Computer Science and the Honors College, gives high achieving high school juniors the opportunity to engage academically with Baylor faculty, students, and staff while earning college credit in the summer.

In the Summer Scholars Program, you will:

  • Experience life as a Baylor student
  • Take a class tailored to you
  • Earn an hour of college credit
  • Get to personally know Baylor faculty
  • Get a head start on college
  • Have a wonderful time
  • ...all in a week!

If you are serious about academics, earned a high score on the PSAT, and have an interest in the honors program, engineering, or computer science, this is for you!

ENGINEERING AND COMPUTER SCIENCE ACADEMIES for high school SENIORS! ***Spend the day as a Baylor Bear in the School of engineering and computer science!

Baylor's School of Engineering & Computer Science will host 3 academies for prospective students during the 2007-08 academic year.

Academies are special recruiting events for top-notch prospective students. To be eligible for one of our academies, you must meet the following requirements:

  • SAT score of at least 1250 (ACT 29)
  • Interest in attending Baylor University in the fall of 2007
  • Interest in engineering or computer science
