Incoming pre-engineering, computer science, and bioinformatics students are able to apply for departmental funds. Applications were due by 11:59pm CST on April 1, 2017. Notifications on scholarship decisions will be sent on April 13, 2017, before the Easter Holiday.


All classifications of students (Freshman-Seniors) are able to apply for departmental funds. The application process for Computer Science and Bioinformatics students is now closed (as of February 28, 2017). Current pre-engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, and general engineering students, the application process closed on April 1, 2017.

The departmental scholarship application allows students to apply to the scholarships for which they are eligible using one web form. Available ECS scholarships are as follows:
