Kim Mackenroth joined Cessna, now Textron Aviation, as Vice President and Chief Information Officer in 2013. Kim oversees Textron Aviation’s global information technology team, including management of vendor relationships, and is a member of Textron’s Information Management Council. Kim has more than 20 years of leadership experience at Textron in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, military programs, business systems modernization and information technology. Kim also currently serves as Vice President of the newly formed Wichita, KS chapter of the Society of Information Management.
Kim began her Textron career with Bell Helicopter in 1996 as Associate Material Planning Analyst. While at Bell Helicopter, Kim performed positions of increasing responsibility and impact across numerous organizations in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Kim’s last position at Bell Helicopter was Director of IT Business Process Integration where she led a multi-discipline team, ensuring IT services were executed to meet global business needs, while undergoing business system transformation. Most recently Kim was Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Textron Tools & Test. Located in Rockford, Illinois, she was a member of the executive staff and also served on the MELD non-profit Board of Directors.
Kim earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington.
She is a certified Green Belt and has completed numerous leadership forums with current and previous organizations.
