For decades, tailgating has been an essential part of Baylor football. Over the past several years, on-campus organizations have done a lot to build on the tradition of tailgating so that now students have a variety of places to choose from when they set out on game day. Likewise, on October 6 at 12:30 p.m., the Baylor College of Engineering and Computer Science (ECS) will be hosting its 4th Annual Tailgate at the Mayborn Pavilion.
The ECS tailgate tradition has its roots in showing how much its students and alumni are appreciated. Guests will enjoy a complimentary meal, ECS swag, and the chance to win a gift from the drawing. Current students are encouraged to attend too and can take this time to visit with alumni, faculty and prospective students. In addition, a select number of ECS student organization will be present to share about what they do and how to get involved. Once the tailgate is over, cheer on the Bears as they take on the Kansas State Wildcats.
