Innovate 2025
The School of Engineering & Computer Science invites rising 11th and 12th grade students to attend Innovate, a week-long residential camp at Baylor University! Campers will experience life as a Baylor student for a week, as they learn from ECS faculty, complete STEM projects, and build connections with current and prospective students. For three years in a row, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Baylor in the top 30 for both undergraduate teaching and undergraduate research. This camp is designed to expose high school students to the academic excellence within Baylor's Engineering and Computer Science programs.

2025 Theme: Innovating Technologies in Health
The theme for Innovate 2025 is Innovating Technologies in Health. Join us as we discover how engineering and computer science concepts can solve real-world health challenges. Campers will explore technologies impacting environmental health, such as water filtration systems, and human health, such as prosthetics and genetic data analysis.

Each session has a limited number of spots for male and female campers. Should all spots fill, you will have the option to join a waitlist for your preferred camp session.
What to Expect
All students receive hands-on, interactive instruction from Baylor faculty and support from student leaders and staff. The camp also includes a campus tour, college and career speaker, tours of Baylor research facilities, and other community-building activities. This camp is NOT for high school or college credit.
Camp Cost
Cost: $1,250. Price includes lodging, meals, snacks, transportation for camp activities, and camp merchandise.
The School of Engineering and Computer Science has funds to allocate to a select number of campers to reduce the overall cost of camp. Campers interested in applying for these funds can complete the application below.
About Innovate

Open to rising 11th and 12th grade students with an interest in Engineering and Computer Science, Innovate provides campers with an opportunity to experience the distinctives of a Baylor education. Christian mission, small classes, R1 research, and hands-on learning will be integrated into the camp experience. Campers engage in projects with Baylor faculty as they explore their interests in engineering and technology.
