Competitive Learning
Baylor Computer Science participates in a variety of competition-based learning activities. The goal of competitive learning is to foster teamwork in venues that apply real-world problem solving in structured competition environments.

Baylor Participates in the Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC), placing 4th in the nation in 2018 and 3rd in the Southwest Region in 2021. The CCDC allows students the opportunity to sharpen their skills in technical and non-technical areas related to cybersecurity in a competitive forum. The goal of competition-based education in cybersecurity is to closely replicate real world environments associated with offensive and defensive cyber actions.
