Orientation and Line Camp

We encourage all incoming students to consider attending Orientation and Baylor Line Camp. While incoming Engineering and Computer Science students are welcome to attend any Orientation/Line Camp session, they are invited to attend a special session of Orientation and ECS Line Camp. In Summer 2024, you have the option of choosing the combined Orientation and ECS Line Camp, which is July 22 to 26.

Orientation

Orientation is a two-day program that is essential for all incoming and transfer students. Baylor Orientation is an opportunity to meet other new Bears, learn more about your chosen major, meet with academic departments, get your student ID card, and take your first steps as part of the Baylor Line! All experiences are open to new first-year and transfer students. Parents or guests are encouraged to attend the Orientation program with you.

ECS Line Camp

Baylor Line Camp is an extended summer orientation experience designed to prepare you for your transition to Baylor. At Line Camp, you will forge new friendships, connect with the rich history and tradition of your new home, and explore how Baylor's distinct Christian mission will animate your story. ECS Line Camp is designed specifically for incoming students who have declared a major in Engineering, Computer Science, or Informatics. New students who select to participate in this unique camp experience will be able to connect with other ECS students at ECS Line Camp.
