The annual regional contest for the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) South Central regional was held on Oct 28-29. Baylor Universith hosted the largest site in the 4-site distributed contest by hosting 24 of the 69 registered teams. The competition portions were held in the Jones Library on Baylor's campus.
Baylor's two programming teams did very well, garnering 5th and 10th places and scoring the least penalty points for the number of problems solved in their respective team brackets. Teams included these students: Team Steve (5th): Yanxin Lu, Chiam Chiam, and Jonathan Drake Team Jobs (10th): Erica Wilson, Tyler Richard, Ben Bradshaw
