The Dean’s Office has implemented a more robust awards program that includes the ECS Awards Dinner, where faculty, staff, and students will be recognized together on the School level.
ECS Faculty Awards recognize the best all-around professors – including non-tenure track, tenured and tenure-track faculty – based on teaching capabilities, research achievement, effective committee service, time spent with students and civic and church involvement. The categories are the same as the University-level faculty awards. Nominees for these awards have already been determined through a process involving department faculty, chairs, the Office of the Dean, and Academic Council.
The two ECS staff awards are Outstanding Staff and Excellence in Innovation. ECS faculty and staff are invited to nominate staff. Nominations will be reviewed by the ECS Awards Committee.
The ECS Awards Dinner is an event to honor ECS, faculty, staff, and student awards recipients. This year’s event is by invitation (due to limited capacity) was held at the Baylor Research Innovation Collaborative on April 25, 2024.
