Learning Resource Center and ECS Student Commons

The Engineering and Computer Science Learning Resource Center (LRC) and Student Commons are collaborative learning environments designed to serve Engineering and Computer Science students. Students across all of ECS may utilize these spaces for study sessions and walk-in tutoring sessions. 

 

Tutoring

The LRC tutoring program is an extension of Baylor University’s Student Success Center.  The tutoring schedule, including subjects and tutors, can be accessed through the Tutoring Center's website Drop-in tutoring is available for students on Sundays from 6pm - 11pm and Monday - Thursday 8pm - 11pm.  No appointment required.  Tutors are available to help students work through processes, concepts, and problems. 

Please note that LRC Tutors are not able to help write specific code for any ECS classes. However, tutors are willing to work through coding concepts and definitions.

Thanksgiving:  November 20-23 

Last Operational Day for the Fall 2023 Semester:  Tuesday, December 12th

Location

The Engineering and Computer Science Learning Resource Center has moved locations! The ECS LRC will now be hosting tutoring in the Sid Richardson building during our normal hours of operation and offering a study space with free snacks and coffee in Rogers 213.  

In the event of inclement weather, the ECS LRC and Student Commons are subject to closing.
