Explore ECS Shadow Days: For High School Juniors
Explore ECS Shadow Days gives high school juniors the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a Baylor Engineering and Computer Science student. During this immersive on‑campus experience, participants will be paired with a current Baylor engineering or computer science major who shares similar academic interests.
Throughout the day, visiting students will shadow their Baylor host by attending classes, exploring campus, and getting an authentic look at what it’s like to study engineering or computer science at Baylor. Juniors will also enjoy lunch in a campus dining hall alongside their host and other ECS students.
Family members are invited to participate in a dedicated lunch and informational session led by the ECS team. This session will provide insight into academic programs, student support, and life in the Baylor ECS community.
In the afternoon, students and families will reunite for guided tours of Baylor’s engineering and computer science facilities and Teal Residential College, offering a closer look at both academic and residential life.
Explore ECS Shadow Days is designed to help students envision their future at Baylor by experiencing the classroom, the community, and the culture—firsthand.
