ECS Accelerated Programs
Accelerated Program options are now available to Baylor University undergraduate students in any of our engineering degrees (BSAE, BSBME, BSCE, BSE, BSECE, and BSME), computer science degree (BSCS), or informatics degrees (BSI). This program enables undergraduate students to select up to six hours of coursework taken at the graduate level to simultaneously fulfill elective credit in their bachelor’s and master’s programs of study.
By enabling dual credit for these courses, students are able to accelerate their master’s program of study to complete it in one year. Students graduating from one of the eligible Baylor ECS degree programs will receive an exclusive scholarship that reduces the standard rate of graduate tuition by 60%, resulting in a cost per credit hour comparable to public universities in Texas.
Current Baylor ECS students interested in this program should carefully review the guide below and contact their academic advisor with any questions.
