Experience
Dr. Agamloh is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at Baylor University. His industry experience includes a 13-year stint as technical director of Advanced Energy’s motors and drives laboratory, where he was consultant to the U.S. Department of Energy, major R&D companies, large industrials and electric utilities. Dr. Agamloh received bachelor of science and master of science from St. Petersburg State Technical University, Russia and his Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. His current research interests are in electric machines and drives, with focus on industrial applications, electric transportation, renewable energy systems and naval and aerospace applications. Dr. Agamloh received two IEEE Best Paper Awards for his research. He is Chair of the Electric Machines Committee of the IEEE Industry Applications Society and a past Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications.
