Basic Sales Boot Camp for Engineers
Baylor Engineering and Computer Science teamed up with the Baylor Center for Professional Selling to provide a unique opportunity to our engineering students. Studies have found that students graduating with sales coursework and skills are receiving job offers with compensation packages equivalent to those graduating with an MBA.
This month-long bootcamp is separated into three courses.
1. Basics: Professional Selling
To understand the basic roles of the sales function in organizations.
To explore the mindset, skills, disciplines, and systems of successful professional selling and related relationship building.
To learn how to conduct a successful diagnostic-based, value-creating sales presentation.
To practice active listening as a preferred communication style.
To develop sales-skill competency through classroom practice and role-playing sessions.
