Clarissa Jordan, MD

Clarissa E. Jordan, BSI '16, MD, is a hematopathologist and assistant professor of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. While her primary clinical focus is the diagnosis of lymphoma, leukemia, and benign hematologic disorders, she has continued to draw on a foundation in computer science and bioinformatics in her research work and as Director of Logistics and Informatics for the Division of Hematopathology at Mayo Clinic. Her current work centers on implementation of digital pathology workflows and AI-assisted approaches to flow cytometric immunophenotyping for the detection of minimal residual disease. Through these efforts, Dr. Jordan seeks to bridge diagnostic pathology and computational innovation to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility of patient care.
