Dr. Carbone has over 37 years of experience in serving the defense industry in roles such as: Engineering Fellow, Chief Science Advisor, Technology Director, Chief Engineer for Innovation, Chief Data Scientist, and Adjunct professor for teaching transformational masters and PhD curriculum in Applied AI, AI Security and Ethics, and Advanced Data Science currently at Baylor University.

He currently serves as Everfox Senior Technical Director supporting Government and Critical Infrastructure. He holds patents in Geospatial Intelligence, Missile Defense, and Data Science critical to Big Data, distributed Clouds, and tactical warfighting, and has extensive professional experience in mission critical intelligence planning, modeling, sensing, and tactical edge communications.

Dr. Carbone’s work has been published in over 100+ AI, Engineering, and Data Science publications. His latest book, “Chatbots, The good, The Bad, and The Ugly”, explores AI, chatbots, and Large Language Models and made available by Springer Publishing. He serves as representative of the Department of Computer Science for the ECS Board of Advocates.

Carbone earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Baylor University. He also holds an MS in Engineering and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
