For 15 years, Matthew Ballew has served at Vistra Corp, where he is Director of Emerging Power Technology and Innovation. There he provides framework and leading efforts for advanced technology deployment, driving value with continuous coordination and collaboration with internal and external research and development teams focused on technology maturation in decarbonization, futureproofing, and digital spaces.
Ballew also owns 104 Cattle Company and previously was a research engineer at Southwest Research Institute. Matthew earned his mechanical engineering degree from Baylor University. He represents the Department of Mechanical Engineering board in ECS Board of Advocates meetings.
