Ryan Malone

Ryan Malone, BSME '02, works as Chief Development Officer, Archaea Energy, a bp company. He has worked for BP since 2002. Malone has held numerous Project Management, Operations, Engineering and Executive Office roles. He has worked in Wyoming, Louisiana, Singapore, Korea, and Finland. Recently, Ryan was Projects General Manager for Gulf of Mexico, responsible for BP’s developments portfolio within the region. In 2024, Malone became Vice Chair for the Baylor School of Engineering and Computer Science Board of Advocates, where he is a longtime member. Malone graduated from Baylor in 2002 with a Mechanical Engineering degree and a minor in Mathematics. Ryan and his wife Jennifer, BSEd ’01, reside in Katy, Texas, with their two children. They enjoy everything that the greater Houston area has to offer – Astros, good restaurants, Texans, Rodeo, fishing, and the Texas Coast. The Malones love spending time with family, traveling, working out, the outdoors, reading, and working the family ranch in Sonora, Texas.
